Unitarian Universalist Religious Exploration program starts Sunday

The Pagosa Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will begin our Religious Exploration program for 2012 onSunday, Jan. 15, at 12:30 p.m. The program will be facilitated by Julie Loar, religious education and program coordinator.

Unitarian Universalism is a faith that is supported by principles rather than dogma.  This year we will explore a program called “Spirit of Life,” which is based on the hymn of the same name.

Each session focuses on a different aspect of spiritual life as framed by the lyrics of Carolyn McDade’s song.  The program aspires to bring meaning, beauty, inclusivity and growth to Unitarian Universalist adults as they deepen their spiritual awareness and connections.

The program examines one of the central functions of religion: how we connect to life and a sense of great mystery.

Meetings will be held at the UU Fellowship in Greenbriar Plaza at Park and North Pagosa.  Please bring a brown bag lunch and take part in a stimulating discussion and exchange.  There is a suggested donation of $10 to support our Religious Exploration program.
