Dance with D.J. Dude at the community center

Come have some first-of-the-year fun and show your stuff on Jan. 27, 7-11 p.m., as you dance to the music of D.J. Dude at the Ross Aragon Community Center.

Enjoy a cash bar, bring a snack to share (if you would like) and have a great time.

Tickets are on sale now at the community center and Boulder Coffee Cafe. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door.

Free programs

Move your body and dance. Fridays at 4:45 p.m. Come get your body in shape with June Marquez at the community center this new year. Call 264-4152 for more information.

Mah Jongg. Tuesdays, 1-3 p.m. Call the center with any questions, 264-4152.

Pickleball. Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8-10 a.m. If you need a pickleball fix, join us. Loaner paddles are available. If you would like to learn the game of pickleball, join us from 9-10 a.m. to learn this fun and exciting game. Contact Fran if you have any questions, 884-3184.

Tai Chi. No experience is necessary. Join instructors Pam Kircher and Anna O’Reilly. Classes are Wednesdays, 11 a.m.-noon. Please wear flat-soled shoes and bring water. Class is open to everyone.

Pagosa Bridge 4 Fun. Mondays, 12:30-4 p.m. For more information, contact the Community Center, 264-4152.

Hoopsters. Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8-9 a.m. Warren and the guys are waiting for you to come out and play. The Hoopsters are a great group of guys getting out there twice a week for a good game of b-ball.

Yoga. Thursdays, 10-11 a.m. and Tuesdays, 10-11:30 a.m. Rejuvenate with us. Please bring a mat or towel. Call the center with questions, 264-4152.

Meditation on the Breath. Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 11-11:30 a.m. Call the center for information.

Dance for Life-Vinyasa Flow. Mondays and Wednesdays 10-11 a.m. Call Helena for information, 731-5529.

Israeli folk dance. Wednesdays 7-9:30 p.m. Learn this unique type of dance and have a great time while getting exercise. All experience levels welcome. Call Kim Hartfiel if you have questions, 946-7285.

Al-Anon. Meets Thursdays at noon at the Ross Aragon Community Center. For information contact the center, 264-4152.

Smallfries Playgroup. Meets Fridays, 10:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m. at the community center. For more information, contact Annie at 264-9328.

Dulcimer. The dulcimer is an entry folk instrument, not as difficult as the guitar to learn. If you would like to learn to play this instrument, come on Wednesdays, 2:30-3:30 p.m. Call the center for information at 264-4152.

The Ross Aragon Community Center has the space you are looking for. We have reasonably priced rooms to meet your event needs. Our rates range from $6 to $90 per hour. Room sizes for 20, 40, 50, 90 or 500 people.

The community center hours are Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Saturday and Sunday by appointment only.
