Are you struggling to understand PhotoShop well enough to simply adjust or resize your images, or to add text?
Are you an artist who would like to take control by doing your own photography?
Then these introductory classes are perfect for you and will provide just the information that you need without being overwhelming.
This introductory PhotoShop course will take place on Saturday, Jan.14, from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Course fee: $90; includes use of studio equipment as needed.
PhotoShop Basics is also designed for those with PhotoShop experience and serves as a great refresher course.
This enormously valuable and fact-filled workshop will cover the general principles of PhotoShop manipulation specific to the needs of artists.
The information provided is also applicable to those that would simply like to learn more about PhotoShop for their own personal use.
Instruction will focus on image/file formats, image sizing, cropping and image correction.
It will cover accepted practices for submission requirements to juried competitions, publications and newspapers (both online and hardcopy). The preparation of images to be used in promotional materials and website use will also be discussed.
