Arts for Orphans benefit for Kenya

Join us on Jan. 12 for a benefit concert featuring students from Pagosa Springs High School’s Americana Project, members of San Juan Dance Academy and other local talent.

The show will include vocal and musical performances, dance and spoken word poetry. A silent auction will also be held throughout the evening.

Funds will help send Pagosa’s Casey Crow to Kisumu, Kenya, as a volunteer to assist in pioneering a micro-finance program for widows, and to help in local orphanages such as the Joyland Boarding School for Special Needs.

All extra funds and specified donations will be given to the operators of the Discipleship and Income Generating project to support further developments in micro-finance and to meet the needs of local orphanages.

Arts for Orphans will be held at 7 p.m. on Jan. 12, at Pagosa Springs High School. Admission is $10 and tickets will be sold at the door.
