UU Fellowship features ‘Stories of the Miraculous’

On Sunday, Dec. 4, the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship service topic will be “Stories of the Miraculous,” presented by Ilene Haykus.

She points out that, “The well-known Jewish holiday of Hanukkah, or ‘Festival of Lights,’ begins at sundown on December 20.”  She continues, “This morning we will discuss the ancient history and miracles commemorated by Jews all over the world during the eight days of this holiday, and share personal encounters with the miraculous in our own lives.”

Ilene Haykus, MA, CCHt., is a past president of PUUF and former lay minister for the UU Fellowship of Sedona, Ariz.  She is a psychotherapist and co-director of Turning Point Hypnotherapy Academy in Pagosa Springs.

The service begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Hall and child care will be provided.  The address is Unit B-15, Greenbriar Plaza.  Turn East on Greenbriar Drive off North Pagosa Boulevard by the fire station, then left into the back parking lot and look for the big sign.  All are welcome.
