In this day and age, what will $5 buy?
Perhaps a box of cereal and a carton of milk, or a small jar each of peanut butter and jelly?
At St. Patrick’s, $5 buys a ticket to an elegant Christmas tea on Sunday, Dec. 4, from 2 -3:30 p.m.
Guests will enjoy delicious cookies, cakes, sandwiches, cheese and crackers, fruit and other delectable fare.
A $5 ticket will enter you into a door prize drawing for special Christmas gifts.
A $5 ticket will place you at a table filled with others who have come to enjoy the beautiful festivities of the holiday season.
Tickets for St. Patrick’s annual Christmas Tea are now on sale at the church office, 225 S. Pagosa Blvd.
Treat your family and friends to a wonderful afternoon of festive foods, beautiful table settings, Christmas music and an opportunity to sit back and relax. Boxes of homemade cookies will be on sale for $10 per box, as well as charming handmade Christmas ornaments for the tree. These make wonderful gifts for the special people in your life.
Proceeds from the event provide funding for the Shamrock Quilt auctioned each summer to raise money for local charities as well as for the St. Patrick’s Prayer Quilt Ministry.
