Hunter education classes will be offered in Pagosa Springs Oct. 20 and 21, with a second class on Nov. 3 and 4.
Sessions will take place 5:30-10 p.m. on Thursday, and 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on Friday. Students must attend each session.
Classes will be held at the Colorado Mounted Ranger Building, 302 San Juan St., in downtown Pagosa Springs.
Cost is $20 per student.
These courses will be open to anyone wishing to obtain a hunter safety card. These will be the last classes taught in Pagosa in 2011.
If you were born on or after Jan. 1, 1949, you are required to have a hunter safety card before you can purchase a hunting license.
