Volunteers, donations needed for annual Halloween carnival

Halloween is just around the corner and we are gearing up for our annual Halloween carnival at the Ross Aragon Community Center.

As always, we are in need of donations and volunteers to make this event a success.

Each Halloween, we see about 1,500 kids in two hours and make sure every one of them leaves with treats.

A costume contest is held each year, with prizes awarded.

Games for all ages and a haunted room will keep you on your toes.

We need candy, cookies, cakes, pies and helpers. If you have any time between Oct. 24 and 29 to donate, we can use your help.

The carnival is set for Oct. 29 from 3-5 p.m.

This is a free event for the entire community.

If you have any questions or want to know how to help, call the center at 264-4152.

K.G. and the Ranger

K.G. and the Ranger will be at the Ross Aragon Community Center for a night of family fun on Oct. 19; and the entire family can enjoy some good ole’ cowboy calling.

Buy some peanuts and an old-fashioned root beer float from our concession stand; throw your peanut shells on the floor, relax and have a great time.

Tickets are on sale now at the community center and Boulder Coffee Cafe. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.
