D.L. Marble and his band to perform at community center

D.L. Marble and his band, originally from San Diego, Calif., will be at the Ross Aragon Community Center on Sept. 16. Tickets are on sale now.

The band will have you dancing to a country beat, mixed with a little rock and some alternative selections.

D.L. was born in September of 1978. His love for music began as a young child and was supplemented by a variety of music from his childhood, with a number of artists performing rock to country influencing his taste: Tom Petty, Bob Seger, Chris Ledoux, Robert Earl Keen, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson and David Allen Coe.

D.L. taught himself to play the guitar when he was 18, to accompany his vocal talent. He would play for anyone who would listen to him at the time.

Now, he is going to grace us with his presence, so come on over to the Ross Aragon Community Center and listen, and dance. D.L. has recently released a new single and you are sure to hear him on our local radio station soon. Check out his website and listen to his music at www.dlmarble.net.

Tickets are on sale at the community center and at Higher Grounds. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door.

A cash bar and snacks will be available for your enjoyment.
