RAD Festival Saturday at Town Park

The RAD Festival is  a memorial concert, honoring three young men taken from the world way too young — Ryan Lister, Austin York and Dylan Burksmith.

RAD, is working with the Promoting Prevention Coalition, The Pagosa Springs Youth Center, and See It Stop It in order to produce this event.

We need your help.

Did you know we have homeless youth in our community? Its a fact. In light of this fact,  a few of us have organized an all-day festival in Town Park on Saturday, Aug. 20, to raise awareness and funds to make a start at finding a solution to this problem.

There are ten well-known and local bands coming out to volunteer their time and talents to help us with this effort to provide shelter for these young people.

You can help by becoming a volunteer at the event. We are also asking for sponsorships to help cover some of our costs.

Pagosa is a community that rallies behind those in need and this cause is no exception. Your skills and talents can help make the event the success it needs to be. We need help with a stage, tent, publicity, stage hands, ticket booth, booth volunteers and maintenance.

If you are familiar with this problem or would like to become more familiar and desire to become a volunteer, or just want more information, contact Cj Herrington at 264-1770 or e-mail acreativeconceptg.g@gmail.com.
