Indian National Pastor to Speak at CrossRoad Christian Fellowship

CrossRoad Christian Fellowship invites the community to hear a guest speaker from India to share his recent experiences and current vision for India.

Pastor Daniel Motakatla, an Indian national, has a powerful testimony of his life and work as a Christian.  Born in India to Hindu parents, Pastor Daniel was orphaned at an early age.  While in an impoverished orphanage, Pastor Daniel almost lost his young life in an accident.  Soon afterwards he embraced Christianity and developed a burden to reach and care for abandoned children in India, like he had once been.  He also had a heart for planting churches in rural farming villages.

Pastor Daniel lives in Eluru, Andre Pradesch, Southeast, India.  In spite of intense, ongoing persecution from devout Hindu nationalists, he oversees a mission called New Covenant Ministries that is totally staffed and operated by regional village believers.  The ministry is partially supported by individual Americans and churches.  New Covenant Ministries includes 10 village pastors sacrificially ministering to 15 churches around Eluru, India.  The ministry also operates an orphanage for 30 parentless children; ages 5 to 16 in Eluru.   Pastor Daniel also pastors a church in Eluru.

CrossRoad Christian Fellowship will host Pastor Daniel on Aug. 14.  After he speaks of the many challenges and victories in India, there will be a fund-raising luncheon afterwards (donation basis).   All are invited to hear and participate in this joyous time of food and fellowship; asking questions and getting honest answers.

Pastor Daniel will also speak about the upcoming Pastor’s Conference to be held in India the second week of November.  It is estimated that up to 100 Indian pastors or more will attend the training conference. Since ministry training opportunities are rare for the poor in India,  Pastor Daniel, along with Pastor Curt from CrossRoad Christian Fellowship, desire to provide full scholarships to any Indian pastor that desires to attend,  furnishing all materials and meals, and conference expenses.

Other local Pagosa churches support this dedicated and loving man: Restoration Fellowship and the Cowboy Church.

If you would like to hear this servant from India, come and join us.  Pastor Daniel will speak at 10 a.m. on Aug. 14 at CrossRoad Christian Fellowship.  The church is located next to the Pagosa Lakes Recreation Center; 1044 Park Ave.
