Performance of ‘No Ordinary Day’ on Sunday

On Sunday morning, Aug. 7, during the 10 a.m. service at CrossRoad Christian Fellowship (formerly Mountain Heights Baptist), Mosaic, the Christian Theatre Ministry of Springs Theatre Company will reprise its production of “No Ordinary Day.”

This is a play about one man’s journey to the Judgment Seat of Christ. We are told that every believer in Christ Jesus will appear before Him and give account for his works done for the glory of God, with the right motive, and in dependence upon the power of the Holy Spirit as outlined in 1 Corinthians 3:12-15. This account is also known as the Bema Seat Judgment.

One who has seen previous presentations has commented:

“The performance was done in a manner that showcased the love, grace, and mercy of Christ without compromising the truth. I was moved to examine my own stewardship of His gifts without the usual guilt I’ve often experienced in other performances. I was warmly invited into the story of Christ, to know I am His, yet to look at how I might want to move into a deeper place of giving more of myself and my gifts to Him and for Him. I told so many people about it and encouraged them to attend… I would attend again!! I will never be able to sing “We Fall Down” again without thinking of that moment when all those who loved Him were kneeling before Him with their crowns. Thank you so much for blessing our community with this. I’m thankful you will consider doing it again.”

Kathy, Pagosa Springs

“No Ordinary Day” is a moving depiction of one man’s account of this judgment and will compel the believer to examine their own life and what they have done and will do for Christ. It will inspire you, concern you, and move you to action for Christ in your life.

Everyone is invited to attend the Aug. 7 Sunday service presentation. This will very likely be the last presentation in Pagosa this year.

No tickets are necessary and seating is first-come, first-served.
