Questions about a possible increase in mill levy are invited at this first of several public meetings about the upkeep and learning environments of local schools.
A series of public meetings in coming weeks will answer voters’ concerns and address citizens’ perceptions.
Those interested in attending can access the existing buildings at this first public meeting at the elementary school and at the second of four public meetings, Aug. 15, at the middle school.
The School Facilities Advisory Committee will host a booth at the upcoming Archuleta County Fair so members of the public can learn more about the conditions of school buildings and possible fixes.
