Pagosa’s Wild Spirit Gallery is making history by hosting the Rocky Mountain Plein Air Painters (RMPAP) 10th Anniversary Show, July 27-Aug. 7.
This will be the largest plein-air event, featuring 42 nationally-recognized artists painting in Pagosa Springs.
“This show will put Pagosa on the map as an artists’ destination. This is so wonderful for our town!” said Madeline Lyon, Wild Spirit Gallery owner and event host.
One of the highlights of the week will be the Quick Draw.
Don’t miss one of the most exciting events during the show. Experience the Quick Draw on Saturday, Aug. 6, 9-11 a.m. , taking place from Town Park to Centennial Park, along the river, and around the Visitor Center lawn area. This event welcomes the public to watch paintings being created, then to bid on the resulting works at Wild Spirit Gallery beginning at noon.
Please note that 5 percent of the sales at the Quick Draw event will be donated to FAMA, the Fine Art Magnet Academy at Pagosa Springs High School.
