Parelli Natural Horsemanship to host Community Open House

Parelli Natural Horsemanship will host a Community Open House on July 23, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Parelli Campus.

This event is an opportunity for southwest Colorado residents and visitors to explore the Parelli Natural Horsemanship campus, watch demonstrations by Pat and Linda Parelli, and meet Parelli students and staff.

From 10-10:30 a.m., Linda Parelli give a demonstration on revealing your horse’s aptitude through the revolutionary concept of “Horsenality.”

After Linda’s demonstration, attendees will have the opportunity to watch master horseman Pat Parelli do cow working with his horses in the “Big Top” — the big covered arena on campus. Visitors can also watch Parelli students and staff play the Parelli Games with their horses — a fun and friendly competition that highlights natural horsemanship — throughout the event.

For those who are interested, Pat Parelli will give a talk about the natural horsemanship philosophy in the covered arena at noon. Food vendors will be on site.

The Parelli Natural Horsemanship Community Open House event will be held at 7110 U.S. 160 West. Please feel free to bring friends and family.

For more information about the event, contact Bill Thacker at (970) 731-6217. Please R.S.V.P. to openhouse@parelli.com by July 20.
