The Thingamajig Theatre Company and the Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts presents “A Year with Frog and Toad,” the Theater Summer/Fall production, running Aug. 5–28, in the Breaks Black Box Theater.
Based on the award-winning books by Arnold Lobel, “A Year with Frog and Toad” follows the adventures of two best friends, the cheerful and popular Frog and the grumpy, “worry-wart” Toad, as they journey through four fun-filled seasons.
Waking from hibernation, they plant gardens, meet new friends, swim, rake leaves, go sledding and learn about friendship and the different things that make each of us special. With its jazzy, upbeat sound and a score that bubbles, this charming musical and three-time Tony Award nominee is sure to entertain both children and adults alike!
“A Year with Frog and Toad” is directed by Tim Moore and Scott Winter. Moore was last seen at the Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts directing “Brilliant Traces.” Winter has traveled with the Missoula Children’s Theatre Company.
The cast for “A Year with Frog and Toad,” in alphabetical order, includes: Brooke Hampton (Ensemble), Ami Harbison (Ensemble), Robin Hebert (Frog), Anna Hershey (Ensemble) and Tim Moore (Toad).
