As part of its continuing campaign against littering, the Town of Pagosa Springs is inviting citizens to enter this year’s anti-litter slogan contest.
One of the town’s current anti-litter slogans is “Pick-up Pagosa Country,” but the town is interested in hearing from anyone who can offer creative alternatives.
Submissions, which should include the name and phone number of the entrant, can be dropped off at the front desk in Town Hall until 5 p.m. July 31. Submissions can also be mailed to: Slogan Contest, Town Hall, P.O. Box 1859, Pagosa Springs, CO 81147, or e-mailed to email@example.com.
A prize will be awarded for the winning entry, and the slogan may appear on future anti-litter signs throughout the community. For more information, call 264-4151, Ext. 232.
