A Pagosa Lakes party at which alcohol was allegedly supplied to juveniles and at which two juveniles were allegedly sexually assaulted has led to charges against three adults.
On Friday night and early Saturday morning, April 29 and 30, a party was held at a Pagosa Lakes residence, where underage drinking reportedly occurred, according to Det. Rich Valdez of the Archuleta County Sheriff’s Office.
That Saturday, April 30, an initial report was made to the ACSO concerning a possible sexual assault, Valdez said.
Upon further investigation into the matter, it was determined that, possibly, two females, aged 14 and 15, were sexually assaulted at the party, Valdez said.
The two females were transported to Mercy Regional Medical Center for evaluation, Valdez said.
Following an investigation that day, Seth Rivas, 22, was arrested on charges of one sexual assault and booked into the Archuleta County Detention Center, Valdez said.
Rivas is being held on $250,000 bond.
Subsequent to Rivas’ arrest, additional charges were filed against two adults for providing alcohol to minors at the party.
Follow-up interviews with those involved revealed that Spencer Lancing, 23, and Rachel Moore, 20, allegedly supplied the alcohol, Valdez said.
The pair were issued summons for the charges.
