Life gets really crazy at times.
From relationships, work, finances, and everything else going on in the world, anxiety seems to be the norm of the day.
So often, we lose our heads dealing with life’s issues. We can choose to ignore them and sweep them under the rug, hoping they will go away. But the reality is, the issues still remain and continue to affect our lives. So what do we do and where do we turn?
We have a choice to make when it comes to handling anxiety: We can deal with it as best we can in hopes that all things will work out or we can go to someone else expecting them to have all the answers.
No, I’m not talking about a self-help clinic, or watching another episode of an afternoon talk show. I’m not even thinking about your best friend or a local bartender. They have the same issues we have. They’re just masking them really well. What I’m talk about is, looking to the Creator of the universe for the answers. Since He made the world, don’t you think He will have the answers to dealing with it?
I would like to invite you to join me at Pagosa Bible Church for the next five Sundays as we look at “Dealing with Life’s Anxiety.” Each week I will be addressing a different area of the anxiety we all face; Failure, Choosing, Money, Loss, and the World Around Us. We will see how we can get a handle on these issues and get a God perspective on the anxieties of life.
We meet every Sunday at 9 a.m. in Harman Park, behind the Wells Fargo Bank, at 209 Harman Drive. Child care is available during the services. Hope to see you this Sunday.
