Bonnie A. Kennedy, 83, of Radium Springs, N.M., passed away at home surrounded by her family April 11. A service is being planned Saturday, April 16, at the family residence in Radium Springs. Bonnie was previously a longtime area resident of Pagosa Springs, leaving for Radium Springs in 1996 where she developed an RV park on the Rio Grande with her husband, Glenn.
Bonnie was an active business person, passionate about food, enjoyed bridge, and socializing with the RV community while traveling, as well as with those who lived at the family’s park. She has been a long time member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Las Cruces. She leaves a wide path of friends and family that will miss her.
Family includes her son Dr. Ed Kennedy, with wife Nancy and children Sean, Emily, great grandchild Toby, all of New Mexico; granddaughter Morgan Kennedy, great grandsons Caleb and Marcus of Durango. Her son John Kennedy, and grandchildren Shannon, great-grandchild Sven of Sedona, Ariz. and Ryan in Napa Valley grew up in Pagosa Springs. Daughter Roberta Miller, husband Dick of Pagosa Springs and granddaughter Kimberly of New York, N.Y.
The family asks that donations be made in memoriam to St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 518 North Alameda Blvd. in Las Cruces in the name of Bonnie Kennedy.
