Last chance for vendors’ booths at Spring Rummage Sale

The annual Spring Rummage Sale is upon us.

The sale will take place April 9 from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Ross Aragon Community Center.

Vendor spaces are limited, and available for $25 each. The rummage spaces are selling fast, so reserve yours today.

Advertise your business, garage sale, handy work or whatever information you want to get to the community on our advertising spaces at the community center. We have half boards from $12-$22 and full boards from $22-$42. Come by the center or call 264-4152 for more information and get your items noticed today.

Free programs

Israeli Folk Dance. Come dance the night away on Wednesdays from 7-9:30 p.m. in the South Conference room. Contact the center for information, 264-4152.

Boxing class. Coach Monte Lane has classes on Wednesday, 3:45-5 p.m., and Friday, 1:45-3:45 p.m. Times are subject to change. Contact Monte at (936) 524-9557 or the community center, 264-4152.

Small Fries Play Group. This play group is designed for kids 18 months to 3 years and meets every Wednesday, 10-11:30 a.m., at the center. Other ages are welcome as well. Bring bikes, scooters and tricycles to ride. Plan on supervising your children while at the play group. Call the center for more information, 264-4152.

Scrapbook Club. The group will meet the second Saturday of the month. Kathy Ruth is your contact person; call her at 264-2853.

Mah Jongg. Tuesdays, 1-3 p.m. Call the center with any questions, 264-4152.

Pickleball. Pickleball is a game for all ages. Classes are Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, 8-10 a.m. Contact Sharon Athey, (480) 529-3748 or or Fran Brown, (970) 884-3184, if you would like to play.

Tai Chi. No experience is necessary. Join instructors Pam Kircher and Anna O’Reilly. Classes are Fridays, 11 a.m.-noon. Please wear flat-soled shoes and bring water. Class is open to everyone.

Dance for Health Class. Wednesdays, 10-11:30 a.m. The use of yogic awareness, ballet/jazz/modern dance technique adds fun to create a full body workout. Class is geared to the older adult, but we are open to everyone. Wear loose, comfortable clothing; bring a mat and large towel or throw, and let your inner dancer free!

Duplicate Bridge. Every Tuesday and Thursday, 5:30-10 p.m. Call Stan at 731-2217 or e-mail Stan at .

Pagosa Bridge. Mondays, 12:30-4 p.m. For more information, please contact the community center, 264-4152.

Hoopsters. Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8-9 a.m. Warren and the guys are waiting for you to come out and play. The Hoopsters are a great group of guys getting out there twice a week for a good game of b-ball.

Yoga. Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10-11 a.m. and Fridays, 9:30-10:30 a.m. Come, rejuvenate with us. Please bring a mat or towel. Call the center with questions, 264-4152.

Belly Dancing. We offer a beginners’ class, 2-3:30 p.m., and an intermediate class from 3:30-5 p.m. — both on Wednesdays. Come learn this beautiful art; it is great exercise and lots of fun. Contact Carla for more information, 731-3117.

The Ross Aragon Community Center has the space you are looking for. We have reasonably priced rooms to meet your event needs. Our rates range from $6 to $72 per hour. Room sizes for 20, 40, 50, 90 or 500 people.

The community center hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Saturday and Sunday by appointment only.
