Spaces available for Spring Rummage Sale

The Ross Aragon Community Center currently has spaces available for our upcoming Spring Rummage Sale!

The Rummage Sale is set for Saturday, April 9, from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Set- up is on Friday, April 8, from 8 a.m.-7 p.m. The rental space cost is $25 (10’x10’). The Rummage Sale is held in the Center’s 7,000 sqare foot multi-purpose room. All proceeds from the Spring Rummage sale will go to the Ross Aragon Community Center.

Due to the current remodel of our multi-purpose room (gym), it will be closed to the public Thursday, Jan. 27 and Friday, Jan. 28.

Don’t forget to stop by the center and pick up your tickets for the “Pagosa Sounds” concert that is taking place Friday, Feb. 4. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. A social hour will kick off the colorful evening at 6 p.m. and the concert will follow at 7 p.m.

Free programs

Pickleball. Pickleball is a game for all ages. Classes are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 9 -11 a.m. to play. Please contact Sharon Athey, 731-1719, (480) 529-3748 or shathey@yahoo.com, and Fran Brown, 884-3184, if you would like to play.

Yoga. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10-11 a.m.

Hoopsters. Tuesday and Thursdays, 8-9 a.m. Warren and the guys are waiting for you to come out and play. They will play with just about anyone. The Hoopsters are a great group of guys getting out there twice a week for a good game of b-ball, come join them. Warren will be happy you did; he plays well with others.

Dance for Health Class. Wednesdays, 10-11:30 a.m. The use of yogic awareness, ballet/jazz/modern dance technique adds fun to create a full body workout. Class is geared to the older adult, but is open to everyone. Wear loose, comfortable clothing; bring a mat and large towel or throw, and let your inner dancer free!

Small Fries Play Group. This play group is designed for 18 months to 3-year-old toddlers and will be meeting every Wednesday from 10-11:30 a.m. at the center. Other ages are welcome as well. Bring your bikes, scooters, and tricycles to ride. Please plan on supervising your children while at the play group. Call the center for more information, 264-4152.

The Community Center has the space your are looking for for those special events: weddings, baptismal, birthday, anniversary, wedding rehearsal dinners, wedding, company meetings, depositions, auctions, cooking classes, non-profit, personal/individual/private, and all your business needs. We have reasonably priced rooms to meet your event needs. Our rates range from $6 to $72 per hour. Room sizes for 20, 40, 50, 90 or 500 people.

If you have an idea of an activity you would like the community center to sponsor, please call or stop by. We are always looking for new ideas.
