Julie Loar’s recently republished book, “Goddesses for Every Day, “is the inspiration for an upcoming costume event at Wild Spirit Gallery. Don your deity duds — the god or goddess of your choice; there will be a prize for the best costume. There will also be a door prize.

Join in the fun on Friday, Jan. 21. Lohr will do a reading from “Goddesses for Every Day,” drama included! Her book will be available for sale and she will be happy to personalize a copy.

Doors open at Wild Spirit Gallery at 6 p.m.. Admission is $5 and includes a beverage.
