Pagosa Springs Youth Football would like to thank the community and businesses for making this season a successful one. Thank you to the coaches for all of your time and hard work. Thank you to all the parents for your big commitment and support. Congratulations to all the players for a great season. We look forward to next season.
The intent of this note is to express our sincere appreciation to you, the wonderful people of Pagosa Springs, for all you have done for us over the past three weeks. We will never, ever be able to thank you enough for all of your help. And, in some cases, we will never even know who to thank. It is completely mind boggling for us to consider that any community could give and love as much as you have. We are so very grateful for all you have done to assist us and to honor Scott.

Thank you for the nice Thriftmas Party at the Extension building Friday evening.
It was so much fun. We enjoyed our food, visiting with friends and family, meeting new people. The music was wonderful. It’s the most fun we have had and spent less money than buying a soda at the store. Kim, Annie, Terry and Paula — you all do such a great job. We love shopping the Methodist Thrift Store.

Seeds of Learning would like to thank Liberty Theatre and Fantasy for Charity for decorating and donating beautiful Christmas trees to be auctioned off for Seeds of Learning at the Festival of Trees. They were both absolutely beautiful! Your gift was very much appreciated. Thanks, too, to Jeannette and Jerry Baker, as well as Chalyn Fitzgerald for purchasing the trees.
The Fall Book Fair “Here’s to Our Hereos! — Reading Saves the Day!,” held at Pagosa Springs Elementary School during November, was an outstanding success! Gross sales were $8,663.48. Additionally, the school library received $240 worth of new books and $150 of resource materials.
Thank you to all of the students, teachers, parents, relatives and friends who shopped at the Book Fair and for all the excitement about the event. It would be impossible to put on this two-week event without all of our willing and able volunteers. Huge gratitude goes to 20 individuals who decorated, unpacked and packed boxes, sorted books and staffed the cash register: Cheryl Bowdridge, Kendra Bridges, Ronnie Doctor, Carmen Hubbs, Lara Khung, Shannon Lane, June Landgraf, Drew Mackey, Debbie Mackey, Carol Nasralla, Karen Ross, Kristen Roth, Jen Schuchart, Lisa Scott, Barbara Simpson, Ed Simpson, Charmain Smith, Don Smith, Liz Starks and Keely Whittington.
As always, we’d like to thank the school custodians, Jim Sellers and Jack Constant, for their assistance outside of their regular duties.
Thanks to everyone for making this school event so successful!
