In her final workshop in the “Healing through Hypnotherapy” series, Ilene Haykus will explain how to discover and resolve underlying issues to help you recover from injury or disease.
Hypnotherapy is one of the most successful therapies in use, as an adjunct to traditional medical treatment, for injury, pain and disease. Events and issues in your life can contribute to physical conditions including injuries from accidents, chronic pain, allergies, heart disease and cancer. In this workshop Ilene will focus on helping you heal.
“Healing from Injury and Disease” will be held Saturday, Dec. 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at a cost of $35. Anyone may participate. It is not necessary to have taken any of Ilene’s previous workshops in the series. Please call Southwest Light and Learning Center, 759-2983, for information and location of this class, or you may call the instructor at 731-0553.
Haykus holds a master’s degree in psychology from Antioch University. Her background includes training in both traditional and alternative forms of counseling and hypnosis. In 1992 she was awarded credentials as an instructor of hypnosis from the Colorado State Department of Higher Education and the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners. She teaches professional certification trainings in hypnotherapy under the auspices of the Alchemy Institute Inc., a state-licensed vocational school.
