Navajo State Park will host its 10th annual Holiday Open House on Sunday, Dec. 5, at the park’s Visitor Center on the Colorado side of Navajo Lake from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Hot cider, hot chocolate, coffee and holiday cookies will be available in the Visitor Center where all books, maps, puppets, finger puppets, games, apparel and other gift items will be discounted 15 percent. In addition, there are many books discounted 30 percent. We also have lots of ideas for stocking stuffers. Gift certificates, in any amount you choose, will be available and make great holiday gifts, as do the new 2011 Annual Parks Passes, now on sale. So come do your holiday shopping with us.
The new Aspen Leaf Lifetime pass for residents 64 and older is also now available. To purchase this pass for a vehicle you own, bring your ID and the Colorado registration for that vehicle.
