PUBLIC NOTICE

The Town of Pagosa Springs Town Council will hold a public hearing to review the rezoning of properties known as; Lot 2B of Pagosa Springs Bennett & Booth CM and 23 Pike Drive and 1551, 1623, 1623A & 1647 Highway 160.

These parcels were mistakenly zoned Low Density Residential (R-6) in February 2009 and the Town seeks to correct this error by proposing rezoning of the listed parcels from R-6 to MU-C (Mixed Use Corridor) and MU-R (Mixed Use Residential). The public hearing is scheduled for 12:00 noon on November 18, 2010, to be held at Town Hall at 551 Hot Springs Boulevard. Anyone with questions or wishing to comment should contact the Town Planning Department or attend the public hearing and be heard.

For PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING

ON-CALL SERVICES

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE County of Archuleta, Public Works Department is requesting Statements of Qualifications to provide on-call Professional Engineering services on an as-needed basis. Services may include geotechnical investigations, traffic engineering designs, construction plans & contract administration, design review, bid phase services, inspection, testing, progress payment reviews, meeting coordination, as-built plan preparation for roadway and other minor projects. The term of the services will be for one year, from January 1, 2011 to December 31, 2011. The County reserves the right to extend the period of services in one year increments for an additional two years.

Sealed Statements of Qualifications will be received until 3:00 PM, November 18th, 2010 by the Public Works Department, at 1122 Hwy 84 South, Pagosa Springs, Colorado, 81147. Statements received after that time will not be considered and will be returned without opening to the submitter. All submittals shall be clearly marked “STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS FOR ON-CALL PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES.” Statements of Qualifications shall be limited to a maximum ten (10) single-sided pages.

A selection panel will review and rank the Statement of Qualifications. Firms deemed to be qualified will be selected and may be called upon to submit proposals for specific experience. It is anticipated that a selection will be made by December 3, 2010.

Interested parties must obtain a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) prior to submitting a Statement of Qualifications. RFQ will describe the work to be performed, the selection process and basis for selection. Request for Qualifications documents may be obtained at the Public Works Department at the address listed above, or may be accessed through the County of Archuleta website at www.archuletacounty.org. PUBLIC NOTICE

The Town of Pagosa Springs Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to review the rezoning of properties known as; Lot 2B of Pagosa Springs Bennett & Booth CM and 23 Pike Drive and 1551, 1623, 1623A & 1647 Highway 160.

These parcels were mistakenly zoned R-6 (Low Density Residential) in February 2009 and the Town seeks to correct this error by proposing rezoning of the listed parcels from R-6 to MU-C (Mixed Use Corridor) and MU-R (Mixed Use Residential). A public hearing is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. on November 9, 2010, to be held at Town Hall at 551 Hot Springs Boulevard. Anyone with questions or wishing to comment should contact the Town Planning Department or attend the public hearing and be heard.

The current holder of the Evidence of Debt secured by the Deed of Trust, described herein, has filed Notice of Election and Demand for sale as provided by law and in said Deed of Trust.

THEREFORE, Notice Is Hereby Given that I will at public auction, at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, 11/18/2010, at 449 San Juan St., Pagosa Springs, CO 81147, sell to the highest and best bidder for cash, the said real property and all interest of the said Grantor(s), Grantor(s)’ heirs and assigns therein, for the purpose of paying the indebtedness provided in said Evidence of Debt secured by the Deed of Trust, plus attorneys’ fees, the expenses of sale and other items allowed by law, and will issue to the purchaser a Certificate of Purchase, all as provided by law.
