Lifelong Learning launches with a trip to Iran

The fall 2010 Lifelong Learning Lecture Series begins this Saturday, Oct. 16, with visual travel lecture on Iran.

Dr. Marilee Jantzer White, professor of art history at Fort Lewis College, will address contemporary perspectives held by Iranians on a variety of social and political issues as related to her during her travels.

Images from Dr. White’s journey will accompany her lecture titled “Inside Iran: From Mashad to Tehran.”

Lifelong Learning Lectures are free and open to the public. They are held in the Turner Reading Room from 3 to 4:15 p.m. in the Ruby Sisson Library, located at the corner of U.S. 160 and 8th Street.

Please note that the library is closed during the lectures, so arrive promptly.
