SHY RABBIT Contemporary Arts: is pleased to open the long awaited SHY RABBIT Print National 2: A National Juried Exhibition, with an artists’ reception on Saturday, Sept. 4, from 5-8 p.m.

The SHY RABBIT Print National 2 continues through Oct. 17. The exhibition space is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, and evenings by appointment.
SHY RABBIT Print National 2 provides visitors with a rare opportunity to view a diverse selection of 90 high quality fine art prints, representing 45 uniquely talented printmakers from 21 states, Canada and the UK.
This impressive gathering of prints was executed by an exceptional group of seasoned university professors and emerging independents, selected for inclusion based on technical execution, presentation, originality and consistency of the work presented.
The works on display in the Print National 2 include a wide range of contemporary etchings, lithography, woodcuts, monotypes, intaglio, serigraphs, artist-made papers, and often incorporate mixed media.
The juror selected for this year’s second annual exhibition is Yuji Hiratsuka, professor of art, Oregon State University, Corvallis, Oregon. A sampling of Hiratsuka’s remarkable prints will also be exhibited.
