Jelly Beans And Squiggly Things After School Fun Club is 10 years old

It’s a celebration!

The Jelly Beans And Squiggly Things After School Fun Club is 10 years old.

This club, for kids of all ages, is a Christian, community outreach of Restoration Fellowship. It is a time of fun, food, fellowship and sharing. The children are taught and encouraged to value the commandment to love, respect, obey and honor their parents. They are encouraged to value living and walking in a godly lifestyle and to understand how important they are in the worldwide worship and prayer movement.

Singing and praising the Lord is common among the “clubbers” and they are quick to volunteer to be the worship leaders! Children love to sing and it is a blessing to be a part of worshiping God in an atmosphere directed from a child’s heart.

Time spent in prayer is also an area of focus at the Jelly Beans Club. The children are taught how to give their voice to the Lord in prayer and how to listen and hear His voice in return.

We, the leaders of this after-school club, have experienced over the years, the God-given, teachable spirit that children naturally possess. God’s first and greatest commandment that we would love Him with all our heart, mind, soul and strength, is easily grasped by the children when they understand and realize that God loves them in this same way!

We wish to extend a big “thank you” to all the parents who have trusted us with their children over the past 10 years for this weekly gathering. We will continue to meet again this year, every Wednesday, starting Sept. 15, 3:10- 5 p.m. in Room 38 of the elementary school.

In honor of our 10 year celebration the adult and youth leaders of the club have added free music lessons during our time together. This will include instruction on guitar, keyboard, drums and voice!

So mark your calendars and tell your friends and join us on Wednesday afternoons. For more information or questions call the Searle family at (970) 903-8104. Parents are always welcome to attend the club. A snack is provided and any child who would like to have a Bible, is given one. Come and join the fun.
