Last summer, students and graduates of Pagosa Springs High School banded together to create The Gypsy Players theater troupe and provide family-friendly entertainment for the whole town.
After exciting performances at the Kid’s Fair and Kite Flying Festival and the first Pagosa Renaissance and Pirate Festival, the troupe has returned for a second season.
The Gypsy Players will make their season debut at the second Renaissance and Pirate Festival Saturday, July 17, and Sunday, July 18, at Town Park.
With performances scheduled at 10 a.m., 12:30 and 3 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 and 11:30 a.m., and 3 p.m. Sunday, the Players are thrilled to bring some original fairy tales to life on stage. Casted, directed, written, produced and performed completely by PSHS students and graduates, the unique and original shows are guaranteed to entertain children and adults of all ages.
The talented cast includes Kayla Hunt, David Smith, Zoe Fulco, Trace Gross, Colin Oliver, Robert Neel, Kim Hunsicker and Becca Stephens. Come out and see The Gypsy Players as they perform “Woops-A-Poof!,” “The Price of Pumpernickel” and “Pirates 101” this weekend at Town Park.
