Pagosa Model Railroad Club meeting set for July 11

The next meeting of the Pagosa Model Railroad Club is scheduled for Sunday, July 11, at 2 p.m. at the Community United Methodist Church, 434 Lewis St.

The club is an informal organization of local area model train enthusiasts who meet every two months to share ideas and help teach each other modeling skills.

The topic for the July meeting is “Removing Barriers, or how to successfully build a model railroad in spite of the obstacles.” The session will be focused on creative solutions to common problems that confront someone wanting to build a model railroad layout.

Anyone interested in model trains is welcome to attend. The club has members modeling in a diversity of scales, including HO, S, O, G, all the way up to 7 1/2” gauge.
