The Southwest Basin Roundtable is seeking persons interested in serving as at-large members of the group.
The Roundtable is responsible for assessing future needs for consumptive and non-consumptive water supplies, and supporting efforts to meet these needs.
At-large members are appointed by election of the Roundtable every five years and there are currently nine positions up for appointment, including one to represent environmental interests, one to represent agriculture, one to represent recreation, one to represent domestic water providers, one to represent industrial water uses, and four at-large representatives with no specific affiliation.
The Roundtable holds quarterly meetings, which alternate between Cortez and Durango.

Elections will be held at the Sept. 8 Roundtable meeting beginning at 3 p.m. at the Dolores Water Conservancy District Office in Cortez.
