Notice of Public Hearing

Board of County Commissioners

Archuleta County, Colorado

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to CRS 32-1-1002 (d) and CRS 30-28-204 that the Board of County Commissioners of Archuleta County, Colorado, will hold a public hearing to consider proposed amendments to the Building Department Fee Schedule effective January 1, 2010 to adopt over the counter permits and fees for such permits.

The Board of County Commissioners will also be hearing an amendment to the 2006 International Residential Code adopted by the county to require a snow shed roof over gas and electric meters of the snow shed side of the residence and commercial building or that they should be placed on the gable end of the residence or commercial building.

The public hearing will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at the regular meeting of the Board of County Commissioners at 1:30 PM in the Commissioners Meeting Room of the Archuleta County Courthouse, 449 San Juan Street, Pagosa Springs, Colorado, at which time all interested parties will be heard.

The Town Council for the Town of Pagosa Springs will be holding a public hearing for a Hotel and Restaurant liquor license application for Café Colorado LLC located at 565 Village Drive Suite I,J. The public hearing will be held on Tuesday July 6th at 5:00 p.m. in the Town Council Chambers at Town Hall 551 Hot Springs Blvd. All people wishing to comment should be present at that meeting or have written comments in the office of the Town Clerk no later than 5:00 p.m. on July 2, 2010.

COUNTY OF ARCHULETA, COLORADO

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR A 5-YEAR ROAD PLAN

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE County of Archuleta, Public Works Department, is requesting a Technical Proposal to provide a 5-Year Road Plan. Services will include, but not limited to, an analysis of existing road conditions, develop alternatives for road maintenance and repair, review of County road classification system, and provide a 5-year plan for roadway maintenance.

Technical Proposals will be received until 2:00 pm, July 15, 2010 by the Procurement Officer, at 449 San Juan Street, Pagosa Springs, Colorado, 81147. Proposals received after that time will not be considered and will be returned without opening to the submitter. All submittals shall be clearly marked “PROPOSAL FOR 5-YEAR ROAD PLAN”.

A pre-proposal meeting will be held at the Public Works Department, 1122 Hwy 84 South, Pagosa Springs, Colorado, 81147, on July 1, 2010, at 10:00am.

A selection panel will review and rank the Proposals. It is anticipated up to three firms may be selected for a presentation/interview prior to the final selection. Final selection will be made by July 2010.

Interested parties must obtain a Request for Proposal (RFP) prior to submitting a proposal. The RFP will describe the submittal requirements, the selection process and basis for selection, and a Scope of Work. Request for Proposal documents may be accessed through the County of Archuleta website at www.archuletacounty.org. The County of Archuleta reserves the right to reject any Proposals and/or to waive any informality related to this solicitation.

La Plata Electric Association requests approval for a Conditional Use Permit application to reconstruct and upgrade their existing Ponderosa electrical substation.
