On Sunday, May 30, the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will hear a talk by one of its favorite visiting speakers, Judith Reynolds from Durango.
Her topic will be “Fate, Chance, and/or Destiny.”
She asks “Has Chance played a role in your life? Do you believe in Fate? What is your Destiny?” These are merely three of the many questions Ms. Reynolds will raise for your contemplation.
Reynolds, a member of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Durango, is a prominent journalist, political cartoonist for the Durango Herald, author, and popular speaker at many regional Unitarian Universalist functions.
This week the young people will turn their attention to the Fourth UU Principle: “A free and responsible search for truth and meaning.” A searching game is on the agenda, and they will also decide what to do with the money they raised at the rummage sale.
The monthly sing-a-long, accompanied by Jean Smith, is also this Sunday at 9:00 a.m. Come learn new songs and have a great time singing, then stay for the service, which begins at 10:30 a.m. The Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Hall, is Unit B-15, Greenbriar Plaza. Turn east on Greenbriar Drive off of North Pagosa Boulevard by the fire station, then left into the back parking lot and look for the big sign. All are welcome.
