Farm Bureau meets today, bylaws being written

The next meeting of the Farm Bureau is at 6:30 p.m. today, May 13, at the Extension Building.

Members will work on bylaws. Anyone interested in the Farm Bureau Organization is welcome to attend and help us. It is another good time to learn more about Farm Bureau.

The bylaws are written for us, by us. They will be written according to the way we as the Archuleta County group believe we want our affairs to be controlled at this time. If, after we have operated under these bylaws, we see the need to improve them, that can always be done.

We are hoping for a good turnout. The more people we have in attendance, the better our laws will be. We know a lot of people who could benefit from being a member and we want to encourage them to join us. Come to the meeting, ask your questions and find out for yourself what we are all about.

Farm Bureau is a dedicated group, working hard for a better world. We have a state newsletter that will keep you up to date with all the issues going on, not only in our state, but also in Washington D.C.

Join us and keep yourself informed. Help us write letters to the men and women we have elected to run our county, state and nation, and help us make things better.
