Mud season is finally dwindling in Pagosa Springs, and for many of us this means it’s time to roll up our sleeves and get to work on springtime home improvement.
The Pagosa Springs Home and Garden Show, presented by The Builders Association of Pagosa Springs, returns this year Saturday, May 15, and Sunday, May 16, just in time for some springtime home inspiration. The show will premiere in its 11th year at a new location, Pagosa Springs High School, and whether you’re buying your first home or just working on some remodeling, you’ll find motivation and helpful tips at the show.
The new location will allow the show to offer even more indoor booths with vendors who can offer their expertise in areas from building materials to decking, weatherproofing to “greening” your home. In addition to the informational booths, there will also be many seminars about topics including weatherization, green building, a new 203 K Loan that provides funding for remodeling, a presentation by the building and planning department in Archuleta on new codes for safety, and presentations by builders on home makeovers. Looking to redecorate the inside of your home? New this year are vendors from Pagosa Springs highlighting home furnishings.
The Pagosa Springs Home and Garden Show always proves to be a boom to the local economy and community, and is a wonderful opportunity to not only to learn more about improving your home, but also to exhibit and extend the reach and impact of your business Admission is just $2, and half of all proceeds will be donated to support the Pagosa Springs High School Fine Arts Magnet Academy. The show will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Applications for vendors this year are still being accepted; if you’re interested in showcasing your business at the show or becoming a sponsor, contact Karen Davison at 731-3939.
