The 15th annual Dirk and Colt Ross memorial Basketball Tournament will be held April 15-17 in Pagosa Springs.
Competition at the tourney takes place in three divisions: Open, 6-feet and under, and 35 and over. The three divisions are full, with 34 teams expected at this year’s event.
Games take place 6-10 p.m., April 15, at the intermediate and junior high school gyms. On April 16, action begins at 2 p.m. and lasts until 10 at these two gyms, as well as the gym at the high school. Saturday’s games begin at 9 a.m. at the three gyms.
The tourney again features a slam dunk contest, a 3-point shootout and door prizes during a 5 p.m. session at the junior high gym on Saturday. A special memorial presentation will be made on that occasion.
Admission will be $3 for adult each day, $2 for students. Children 8 and under are admitted free. All proceeds go to a scholarship fund to benefit youth in Pagosa Springs.
