Rummage sale Saturday at community center

It’s here — the seventh annual Spring Rummage Sale, Saturday, April 10, at the Ross Aragon Community Center.

You will have a full morning to shop for great deals. Spend the morning in our giant multi-purpose room shopping, warming yourself with a free cup of coffee, and enjoying a purchased good offered by the After Prom Committee.

It’s all for a great cause, so we hope to see you here.

Celebrate America

I know our town is filled with entertainers, so don’t be shy — we need you.

This isyour chance for your 15 minutes of fame.

Our Celebrate America program will be held on July 1. We need singers, dancers, musicians, story-tellers and drama enthusiasts to participate in the show.

This is a free program we put on every year for the community. If you have a special talent and would like to share in the spirit that is America, call Michelle at 264-4152.

“Paths of the Heart” discussion group. If you are interested in the group, please call Paul Roberts, 731-3117.

Indoor Tennis Program. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 8 to 11 a.m. Local tennis players can now play indoors through MArchuleta Court time is free and limited to one hour increments (8-9 a.m., 9-10 a.m., or 10-11 a.m.). Court reservations are on a first come basis and may be made 48 hours in advance by calling Dale Schwicker at 903-3119

Computer classes. Class will be held toady, April 8, 10 a.m.-noon. Becky Herman will be the instructor.

Free computer Word classes. April 15, 22 and 29. Classes are from 10 a.m.-noon . Please contact Becky Herman if you are interested in the class, 264-2171.

Israeli Dance Class. Come join Kim Hartfiel April 14, 21 and 28, from 7-9 p.m.. No experience necessary. Ages 13 and up recommended. Bring water to drink. You can contact Kim at 946-7285, e-mail:

Scrapbook Club. The club will meet April 10, Sept. 11, Oct. 9, Nov. 13 and Dec. 4 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. If you have any questions, call 264-4152.

Pre-school Play Group. The Play Group hours are 10:30 a.m.-noon every Thursday. If you have questions, call Gwen Taylor at 731-0305.

Cancer Support Group. If you are interested in the group, call Howard Gross, 264-5100.

Morning Yoga. Tuesdays, 10-11:30 a.m. Remember the three Rs: Refresh, relax and rejuvenate. Bring a mat or towel.

The Ross Aragon Community Center has the space your are looking for. We have reasonably-priced rooms to meet your event needs. Our rates range from $6 to $72 per hour. Room sizes for 20, 40, 50, 90 or 500 people.

The community center hours are Monday–Friday 8 a.m.–5:30 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m-3 p.m.
