The Stahr family would like to extend our gratitude to everyone who gave us comfort and support through this terrible time of loss. Our Faith is strong and our Hope is sure.
I would like to give special thanks to our Brothers and Sisters in the Faith. The many prayers of comfort were truly felt by our family. Also the many phone calls and visits from all were very encouraging. We have lived in this community for a long time and we have many friends, and we were glad to see you all at the Memorial Service for Christopher on Sunday afternoon. Our grieving is not yet complete, but we know there are still many prayers in our behalf that are continuing, and we thank you for that.
We have no doubt that Christopher will live again at Jehovah’s due time. (Job 14: 14,15 and Acts 24:15)
Thank you again, and may Jehovah bless all of you (Luke 6:38).
The Stahr Family
On Nov. 24, 2009, I was having difficulty breathing. Renee and Robin called 911 and after the ambulance arrived, two of our local EMTs helped save my life. A big thank you goes out to Joel Claus and Andrew Jones. These two young men went above and beyond the call of duty to help me breathe.
I was transported to Pagosa Mountain Hospital, where we learned that my lung had collapsed. Thank you to all the staff, Dr. Pruitt, Father Carlos Alvarez and Father Doug Neel.
Then I was transported to Mercy Medical Center where I was taken care of by a staff of so many wonderful doctors and nurses. My stay was almost a week, before I was able to come home.
I am so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends. Thank you for keeping me in your thoughts and in your prayers and for all of the flowers, cards and food. You are all so very special to me. Thank you, Jesus, for giving me another day to love. Live each day as if it were your last, and love all who are dear to you.
I love you and God bless you.
