Betty Lee (Bee) Radcliff.
Beloved wife, mother, grandma, friend.
February 11, 1953 to December 4, 2009.
Born Betty Lee Homernik, to Fritz and Dorothy Homernik, on Feb. 11, 1953, in Marinette, Wisc. She graduated from Stephenson High School in Stephenson, Mich., class of 1971.
Became Betty Klitzke when marrying Donald Anton Klitzke on March 3, 1973. They were married for 17 years, divorcing in 1990. Three children, Donald, Lucanus and Evelyn, were born from this marriage.
Met and married Stanley Radcliff in Durango, Colo., on May 25, 1995. The couple then moved to the Shenandoah Valley, Va., and resided there for two years. Upon relocating back to the southwest corner of Colorado, they resided in Pagosa Springs, Colo., since 1997.
After a brief battle with cancer, she succumbed at 2:40 p.m. on December 4, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her father, Fritz, in 1962, and her mother, Dorothy, in 2004.
Betty is survived by her husband, Stanley Radcliff; brothers David Homernik, Charlie Homernik, Guy Homernik, Tim Homernik and Bobby Homernik. Also by her children, Donald (Donnie), age 36, Lucanus (Luke), age 32, Evelyn (Eve), age 28, and stepson, Clarence (CC), age 18.
Betty is also survived by nine grandchildren: Mika, age 13; Rose, age 12; Dakota, age 10; Tori, age 6; Eloria, age 6; Caleb, age 6; Aleah, age 4; Cameron, age 2; and Cailey, age 9 months.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 11, 2009, at the Ross Aragon Community Center in Pagosa Springs, South Conference Room, from 1 to 3:30 p.m.
All who knew and loved her are invited to attend.
