The officers and members of Pagosa Lodge No. 114 invite all Masons and their spouses, regardless of their Lodge, or individuals interested in Masonry to join them at their monthly “Fellowship Dinner” at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at Boss Hogg’s Restaurant.
In addition to having dinner, they are celebrating Worshipful Brother Robert “Bob” Case’s 60 years as a Mason.
We know there are many former members who haven’t been to Lodge in quite some time, but all are welcome to join us for fellowship whenever visiting town or able to attend.
Pagosa Lodge No. 114 was charted by the Grand Lodge of Colorado, A.F & A.M. in 1902, with E. T. Walker serving as Worshipful Master. Next year, we will celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Grand Lodge of Colorado. As part of our celebration, we are gathering information about many of our past community leaders who were members of the Lodge, notably David Fitton; A.J., Fred or Thomas Nossaman ; Frank Loucks; Fred Burkhardt; Alonzo Emigh, William Schoonover; Ray Smith; George Alley; Dailey Hott and Charles Randelman. Should you have any information or photographs, please contact Br. Tom Dittenber at 731-6398.
Over the past several years the Lodge has experienced significant growth in membership through affiliation, dual membership and initiation of new members. We welcome all visiting Masons to join us the first Tuesday of each month at our stated meeting and participate in our monthly potluck dinners.
To facilitate service for the dining out, we are limiting the food selection to prime rib, barbecue or grilled chicken. Exceptions may be made for any special dietary requirements.
Reservations are required. Call Worshipful Master Dale Schwicker at 731-3363 or 903-3119 (cell) if you would like to join us.
