October is upon us and Christmas is not far off.
So, if you are among the many who like to gift shop early, make a note now and plan to do your one-stop shopping at the annual Holiday Bazaar, a Pagosa Springs tradition now for 35 years, on Saturday, Nov. 7, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ross Aragon Community Center.
Once again we will be offering a magnificent array of items, including fine art, jewelry, holiday crafts, fibre arts, beauty products, metal, wood, horseshoe and antler art. Seventy-one vendors from all over the Four Corners will be represented. You name it, we’ve got it.
What would this event be without the goodies of all varieties for sale at the bake sale? You need lunch, a cup of coffee, a soft drink? Just stop by the Club Café where you can enjoy one of Dahrl’s famous barbecued brisket on a bun sandwiches or a hot dog, nachos and chili. The Boy Scouts will be selling popcorn, if that is what you fancy,
This year the raffle will include a wide range of gift baskets, together with the traditional $50 money wreaths. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5, and may be purchased from club members, at the library or all day at the bazaar. Don’t forget to bid on some of the interesting items at the silent auction.
The annual Holiday Bazaar is the Woman’s Civic Club’s biggest fund-raiser to benefit the Ruby M. Sisson Library. Shop, eat, snack, enjoy — all for a very worthwhile community cause.
