The second reading of Ordinance No. 743 was completed at the Pagosa Springs Town Council Special Meeting held on August 20, 2009 at 1:00pm in the Council Chambers at the Town Hall. ORDINANCE NO. 743, AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF PAGOSA SPRINGS REPEALING SECTION 2.4.5 OF THE LAND USE AND DEVELOPMENT CODE AND THE LARGE RETAIL DEVELOPMENT PERMITS SECTION OF THE LAND USE AND DEVELOPMENT CODE USER’S MANUAL.

The Ordinance went into effect August 20, 2009.

PUBLIC HEARING

The Pagosa Springs Town Council will be having a public hearing on Resolution 2009-21, A RESOLUTION AMENDING SUMS OF MONEY TO THE GENERAL FUND AND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR THE TOWN OF PAGOSA SPRINGS, FOR THE 2009 BUDGET YEAR. The public hearing will be held at the regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday September 17, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. in the Town Hall Council Chambers. All people wishing to comment should be present at that meeting or have written comments in the office of the Town Clerk no later than 12:00 p.m. on Monday, September 14th, 2009.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE County of Archuleta, Public Works Department is requesting Statements of Qualifications to provide on-call Civil Engineering services on an as-needed basis. Services may include conceptual designs, construction plans & contract administration, design review, bid phase services, inspection, testing, progress payment reviews, meeting coordination and as-built plan preparation and certification for roadway projects.

Sealed Statements of Qualifications will be received until September 17th, 2009 by the Public Works Department, at 1122 Hwy 84 South, Pagosa Springs, Colorado, 81147. Statements received after that time will not be considered and will be returned without opening to the submitter. All submittals shall be clearly marked “STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS FOR ON-CALL SERVICES.” Statements of Qualifications shall be limited to a maximum seven (7) single-sided pages.

A selection panel will review and rank the Statement of Qualifications. Firms deemed to be qualified will be selected and may be called upon to submit proposals for specific experience. It is anticipated that a selection will be made by October 13, 2009.
