Calling all garage sale enthusiasts!
We have a space for you at the Fall Rummage Sale, set for 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, at the Pagosa Springs Community Center. Hurry in to reserve your spot.
Our past rummage sales have brought hundreds of shoppers through the doors to find those special treasures they just need to have. The community center staff will be cooking breakfast and lunch so you won’t go hungry while you’re shopping.
The proceeds from the rummage sale will benefit your non-profit Pagosa Springs Community Facilities Coalition, aka community center, so we can continue to offer you all the free activities the center has traditionally provided.
If you have items you would like to donate to the community center for sale, please call us for more information at 264-4152.
Festival of Trees
I know it sounds crazy, but the Festival of Trees is just around the corner. Any person(s), group or business is welcome to provide and decorate a tree for the festival.
The proceeds from the auction of your tree must go to the local Archuleta County non-profit organization of your choice.
This is a wonderful event, that puts smiles on many faces. The public is encouraged to view the trees until 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, and on Friday, Dec. 4, until 2 p.m.
Be sure to join us Dec. 4 for the live auction and silent auction. Catered hors d’oeuvres will be served, and a cash bar will be available. Admission to the auction is $10, and the doors open at 6 p.m.
It is now easy to find us on Facebook; simply Google search for “Pagosa Springs Community Center, Facebook.” This will take you to our wall, which lists all our current/past events and photos. We encourage you to become a friend on our site to receive automatic updates.
