The Hinger family would like to thank every one in the community that supported Tate in the Second Annual River Run for Orphans (5K race) held in Durango last weekend. Tate more than doubled his support from last year and raised over $1,700 for the cause. The event netted over $23,000 for various organizations that care for and support orphans throughout the world. With 185 participants, Pagosa was well represented with our own J.D. Kurz winning the event. Please join us next year and get involved in the River Run for Orphans. The youth from the community served 120 guests at the St. Patrick’s Shamrock Festival and did a fabulous job.
