Natural Expressions is a walk through an ethereal garden, with semi-transparent panels separating you from nature.
The unusual lightness and delicacy of this exhibit is complemented by the earthen elements of semiprecious stone jewelry.
Although it was expressed at the opening reception that this is primarily a woman’s exhibit, the number of male attendees enjoyed it as well.
The artists honored through their natural expressions are June Jurcak, Catherine Wagner, Ann Shurtleff and Elizabeth Claire Baldwin.
The show will run until Sept. 17 and Town Park Gallery hours are noon-4 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.

Plein Air Painters
Plein Air Painters meet at 10 a.m. on the third Thursday of the month at a predetermined location. On Sept. 17 we will meet at the pond behind the River Center. There are good spots to paint at either the pond or along the river. Please call Jean Smith, 264-6647, if you need more information.
Painters who work in any media are welcome. It’s a wonderful opportunity to share tips, ideas and resources. If the weather is nice, we paint outdoors. If the weather is bad we will paint in the community center Arts and Crafts Room. Please keep in mind that turpentine-based painting materials cannot be used in the Community Center.
