Failure on the part of a claimant to file such statement prior to such final settlement will relieve said Sponsor from all and any liability for such claimant’s claim.

BOARD OF EQUALIZATION
The Archuleta County Board of Equalization (CBOE) will sit in the Archuleta County Commissioners Office of the Archuleta County Courthouse to review the assessment of all taxable property located in Archuleta County, as prepared by the Archuleta County Assessor, and to hear appeals from determinations of the Assessor beginning August 3 to September 30, 2009.
In the first step of the appeal process, property owners filed objections to the valuations set by the County Assessor. Only those who properly filed objections with the Assessor and were dissatisfied with the Assessor’s determination may petition the CBOE for a hearing. Appointments should be made by mailing one copy of your Notice of Determination to the County Commissioners Office, Board of Equalization, P.O. Box 1507, Pagosa Springs, Colorado 81147, NO LATER THAN August 17, 2009, for real property (land, buildings, mobile homes), and July 20, 2009 for personal property (equipment, furnishings, etc.). Taxpayers requesting a review of their assessment will be contacted and given the date and time of their appointment.
If you disagree with the CBOE’s decision, you may carry your appeal to the State Board of Assessment Appeals (BAA), request a binding arbitration hearing, or file with the district court. This appeal must be filed within 30 days of the CBOE decision.
