Tai Chi and UU principles
Monday, November 22, 2010

On Sunday, July 19, the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will hear a talk on “How a Tai Chi Life Reflects UU Principles,” presented by Dr. Pam Kircher. She comments that “Each Sunday we discuss how the Sunday service relates to the UU principles, but how often do we reflect on those principles throughout the week?”

As a retired physician, who teaches Tai Chi for Health instructor workshops throughout the country, Kircher feels that Tai Chi promotes health in body, mind and spirit in a way that few other activities do. She uses it as the basis of her meditative life, as well as for its physical health benefits. In this service, she’ll provide an experience of tai chi and invite you to look at how you are incorporating UU principles into your everyday life.

Sparks of creativity fly through the summer of Sundays in the Children’s Religious Exploration program.

Lots of  spontaneous  activities  abound  as we wander and wonder.

The service begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Hall, Unit B-15, Greenbriar Plaza. Turn east on Greenbriar Drive off of North Pagosa Boulevard by the fire station, then left into the back parking lot and look for the big sign.
