West Monument Park Road, National Forest System Road (NFSR No. 630) will be temporarily closed in late July to allow the Forest Service to repair damages from a landslide.
The road will be closed July 28 and 29.
On July 30 and 31, the road will be closed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (open overnight). During this time, the road will remain open to non-motorized travel, including hikers, mountain bikers, and horseback riders. It will re-open Aug. 1.
West Monument Park Road is located 22 miles west of Pagosa Springs, seven miles north of U.S.160 and east of First Fork Road (NFSR No.622).
